Arts & Culture For All

Like its neighbour Port Perry, Uxbridge proudly boasts a vibrant cultural scene. Across town, you’ll find a range of quaint art galleries that showcase artists and works from all over the world, and of course, local talent found right here in our backyard. Beyond these traditional galleries, there are also more than 25 permanent art installations found in unique locations across town – further adding to the local creative energy.

One of Uxbridge’s most well-known venues is the historic Roxy Theatre – a vintage 50s-style cinema that plays classic movies 7 days a week. The theatre truly feels like a time capsule and is worth a visit regardless of whether or not you call Uxbridge home!

And if all that wasn’t enough, you’ll also find plenty of live entertainment in Uxbridge from live music to theatre, and everything in between.
