How far is Lindsay From Toronto?
All things considered, Lindsay is fairly close to Toronto. While not part of the Greater Toronto Area on paper, it’s not that far either. Depending on traffic, you can get to Lindsay from downtown Toronto in about 90 minutes.
If you’re looking at a map of Ontario, Lindsay is northwest of Toronto and about 40 kilometres west of Peterborough. It’s a community within the larger City of Kawartha Lakes, which is a big area. You’ll find Lindsay in central Kawartha Lakes, on the southern tip of Lake Sturgeon, right where the Scugog River feeds the lake.
